BHT CLINIC Istanbul Tema Hospital Emergency Service

In our emergency department, an Emergency Medicine Specialist, a Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist, and a Pediatric Health and Diseases specialist are available 24/7. In addition to laboratory, diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment processes carried out with a patient-specific approach, imaging facilities such as magnetic resonance imaging, computed tomography, and ultrasonography are offered 24 hours a day in the emergency department.

Patients who apply to our emergency unit are welcomed by emergency service personnel, experienced nurses, and specialist physicians. After the patient's urgency is determined, the necessary first medical intervention is provided quickly and accurately. Our specialist physicians, equipped with up-to-date medical knowledge and equipment in their respective fields, provide uninterrupted service 24 hours a day during the advanced medical care and treatment process after the first medical intervention.

In addition to patient-specific laboratory, diagnosis, follow-up, and treatment processes, advanced examination and imaging facilities with methods like magnetic resonance, computed tomography, and ultrasonography are provided uninterruptedly 24 hours a day in the emergency service.

Our hospital's radiology department supports the emergency service with state-of-the-art devices and 24/7 teleradiology services. When necessary, some imaging tests for patients who cannot be moved from the emergency department for radiological examination can be performed at the bedside with mobile devices.

One of the departments that supports the emergency service and is dependent on its operation is the biochemistry laboratory. Our hospital's biochemistry laboratory has the most up-to-date devices, and many emergency tests can be concluded in as little as one hour, with some tests not exceeding 10 minutes. This allows for the correct treatment decisions for critically ill patients to be made in the shortest time possible.

We have a CBRN room at the entrance of the emergency service to decontaminate patients from chemical and/or biological agents in case of chemical or biological poisoning or attack before they are admitted to the emergency room.

We have the facility to continue the treatment and observation of adult and pediatric patients in separate areas. This approach was taken with the idea that it is important for patient privacy and the comfort of families.

In extraordinary situations, all our beds are equipped with monitoring devices, allowing for close monitoring of patients' vital signs when necessary.

The triage room is suitable for the simultaneous evaluation of 3 patients and is equipped to comfortably handle even short-term follow-ups if needed.

The resuscitation room contains all the equipment that facilitates the work of the resuscitation team and ensures that the CPR procedure is carried out to the required standards.

In addition to the resuscitation room, there are separate rooms such as a trauma room, a surgical intervention room, a burn dressing room, and an injection room.

Besides all these facilities, there are two examination rooms where two physicians can evaluate patients separately at the same time.
